2012 Winter NH Wing NCO Leadership Academy
The 2012 Winter New Hampshire Wing NCO Leadership Academy (NCOA) promises to be a fun, challenging, and rewarding experience. NCOA is designed to help equip Cadet Non-commissioned Officers with the skills and knowledge they need to be more effective leaders in their home squadrons, and prepare them to make the transition from the enlisted to the commissioned ranks.
NCOA blends classroom theory with hands on training to help cadets truly grasp the concepts they are being presented. Cadets will be presented with, and expected to solve, a wide array of leadership challenges. Classes ranging from conflict resolution and effective leadership to drill & ceremonies will be conducted. Cadets will be given daily taks and challenges that they will have to solve in both individual and group settings.
Above all else NCOA follows one simple concept taken from the NCO Creed. “No one is more professional than I. I am a Non-commissioned Officer…” Cadets that attend NCOA are expected to act, and are treated as, young professionals. Cadets choose to attend because they want to make themselves better leaders, and we will help them to reach that goal.
